I didn't think you would ever ask...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Think about it...when you're on the beach it's the guys/girls with the toned or ripped abs getting noticed. In sports it's the athletes with the strong core that are blowing by everyone. Also, to &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;achieve six pack abs&lt;/span&gt;, you will have to burn fat - a lot of it! - which has obvious health benefits.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 153);"&gt;Quick Recap &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1. But how can you achieve that toned midsection???&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"&gt;1,000 crunches a day? &lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"&gt;WRONG&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"&gt;2,000? &lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"&gt;WRONGER&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"&gt;I know that Crazy AB Cruncher from the infomercial? NOOOO!!!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I don't know what it is, but everyone seems to either go overboard (1000s of exercises) or look for a quick fix to achieve a six pack (the latest gadget).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;To achieve six pack abs, you have to do 2 things. Can you handle that?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 153);"&gt;1. Build/ Increase the size of your abdominal muscles&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 153);"&gt;2. Lower your body fat percent&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;----------------------------------&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The first one seems obvious enough - the abs are muscles and to get ripped abs, you need to strengthen and increase the size of those muscles just like any other muscle in your body.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This is where I get confused about traditional ab workouts...If the abs are just like any other muscle - why attempt to train them totally different? When is the last time you did hundreds of squat reps at one time? I hope you never did.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Achieving a six pack is all about training smart and efficient. A few quick tips:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 153);"&gt;1. Do not perform a crazy # of reps&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 153);"&gt;2. Incorporate moves with added weight resistance for better growth&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 153);"&gt;3. Allow for proper recovery (at least a full day between workouts)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;----------------------------------&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Now this part most people miss - you have to burn some fat to reveal those abs!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;myth buster: You cannot selectively "melt" fat off your abs - you must train your whole body and you will burn fat all over - including the midsection.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I don't want to get into any real specific workouts for six pack abs in this workouts, but I will say this: burning fat does not have to be from long boring jogs.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There are ways to get a relatively quick fat blasting workout to help tone your body and abs.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Furthermore, your diet can make or break your success. You will need to consume fat burning foods and stay away from the junk. No it's not easy, but it's the only way to achieve six pack abs.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;----------------------------------&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Ok let's wrap this up. You now know why you want to achieve a six pack and you have some idea about the process necessary to reach this goal.
